Coronavirus - what to stock up on?

Thanks for the reminder, it’s the time of day to roll one up, in fact I’m about an hour and a half late.

True story and don’t you rat me out. Circa 1978.

Three of my friends and I went camping for a week at Big Bend National Park in west Texas. We hijacked a couple of girls from New Orleans on I-10.

They helped destroy our weed and LSD supply and since I was the only one that spoke any Spanish I was elected to cross the river into Mexico and negotiate a buy.

I did it, a kilo.

Both girls ended up marrying my friends and had kids.

Crazy!:sunglasses:

My grandmother grew up in Pennsylvania Dutch country and would always bring scrapple when visiting us, so I love scrapple. Something about the peppery spice mix, corn meal and pork - fried up with a little apple butter on top.

Love the story - what a decade to come of age in! Without incriminating myself further, it would be fun to get together with you & the wifecta, & with my H to trade stories. Had some colorful times (the northern lights you know) in Alaska, as did the H. Among other places. In fact I think I’ll go back to the 70’s until this pandemic is over…

Well I don’t understand how pot is essential, but a greenhouse isn’t. How is that supposed to happen?

No! Ketchup on top!

Grow pot in your greenhouse and it becomes essential :grinning:

If I saw the Northern Lights now in my early 60’s on LSD my head might implode or explode, not sure which but it wouldn’t be pretty.

Well, talk to our governor @shrinkrap! I do feel your pain, truly and in fact think there should be incentives for people to grow their own food. As you know, life isn’t always fair, with all due respect. :upside_down_face:

Finishing this post, my contractor is marooned in Hawaii, and our designer is 3 months late with our latest project. Sooo, privileged problems to be having, again with respect. Patience!

@gaffk; how come you don’t have a message thingy`

Before the brother in law moved to the UK, he had a small construction business in Mallorca - just him and a couple of guys. They were on a newish job, renovating an old house. One day the cops arrived and arrested them for growing weed. Pedro spent a night in jail before he was able to convince them, truthfully, that he had no idea that weed was being grown in the fairly extensive “garden” around the house. It never seemed to be clear if either of his two workers were involved in the gardening. Some 25 years later on, he’s still sometimes known by the family as the “drugs baron”.

Ordered online Sunday directly from the producer. Arrived this morning! Very well packaged. We usually bought that from the farmers market or food salon. The best jams! I ordered some chocolate for Easter.

Where I live in California it’s legal to grow outdoors if it is in a LOCKED greenhouse. I believe this is because someone will steal it, causing work for the police.

Someone WILL steal it.

Second week of home delivery from the supermarket. Almost everything that we ordered got delivered. A couple of items substituted - so we have crappy jam instead of good quality jam. And a couple of items out of stock - so still no toilet paper (we’ll be breaking out the emergency supplies and crossing fingers for next week)

For those using it for pain management, it is definitely essential.

Yes, but how does one produce cannabis WITHOUT a greenhouse? I know that works some places, but not most.

It’s not called “weed” for nothing.

I don’t think that is what @LindaWhit is referring to.

Interesting @shrinkrap, wasn’t aware of that. In mountainous No Cal, I notice a lot of taller than usual fences…
