Cookbook of the Month - Sept 2022 Nominations

> I DREAM OF DINNER by Ali Slagle.

I DREAM OF DINNER
EVERYONE’S TABLE by Gregory Gourdet. Someone reported on a recipe on the Caribbean COTQ thread that looked fantastic, and it reminded me that I have this book.

SALAD FREAK both sentences.

I’ll go ahead and second this and include the EYB link. The author is a cookbook ghostwriter who has co-authored the Chrissy Teigen books, among others. I’m afraid this book might not catch on this month because we’re in month two of a Middle Eastern book, but it’s good to get it on the radar.

If you like spending time with your oven, come nominate bak8ng books to close out the year, too.

THE FOOD LAB, CARMINES COOKBOOK, and MESA MEXICANA make up a complete sentence.

SALAD FREAK looks intriguing, also

Was happy to see my library has Ali Slagle’s book. Be forewarned, ingredient measurements are not with the list of ingredients at the side, they are in the recipe text. They are in bold so that helps. I prefer to see the ingredients and the amounts at a glance the way the majority of my cookbooks have them. What about you?

Reminder: nominations are supposed to close tomorrow, but we currently don’t have any book that has gotten a substantial number of nominations. If you see something nominated that looks good, please add your nomination. I could use some separation between the books so it is clear which to pass on to voting. I am going to extend the nominations for an extra 24 hours to see if we get a few more nominations. Nominations will close on the 19th at 10am EDT.

@poptart If you’re nominating, you need to type titles in all caps for them to be counted.
