Have always been disappointed at Toast. Frank’s has been our bkfast go-to for years. The Buttered Biscuit in Bradley Beach and Danny’s Place on Sunset are also good.

Have to agree with @seal and @Senyc - I never go to Toast. Cardinal Provisions is excellent, creative, and (bonus) female owned (2 biz partners who met working at Porta at the beginning). They have the most creative breakfasts, imo. Buttered Biscuit is my other go-to, but that’s for when I have people who want (a very well done) ‘regular’ breakfast/brunch menu.
Confections of a Rockstar was a good call, but next time (even if it’s just for dessert), go to Cardinal and get a xuixo. TRUST ME.

I’m not a fan of Toast based on my Red Bank experience(s) - Cardinal I’ve enjoyed - Buttery Biscuit was a huge disappointment. Honestly my favorite breakfast place is any Greek owned Jersey diner. I love those breakfasts!

I used to eat lunch at the Tic Toc often when I worked in Clifton, loved it.
