I made chocolate snickerdoodles yesterday from a recipe in the paper. Super-easy dough, and they’re still nice and soft a day later.

Nephews would REVOLT if I put cardamom in their ccc…
I’ve tried using cardamom in pound cake, and can never discern the cardamom flavor… wonder if it dissipates with the heat and I just need to use twice what I would in an indian (unbaked) application.
How’d you like it with the chocolate?
Loved it. The cardamom leaves a warm finish. Eat a few, you get the hit.
But I’ve also been on a cardamom and almond extract kick lately.
