We are heading to Paris after 9 days in Portugal in late September. It would be wonderful if others would be available to meet for a meal.

The only restaurant I’ve been to that’s on your list is Amarante. We had a lovely lunch there in December ‘23.
We are only in Paris in the spring, not the fall these days, otherwise would love to join you.
I used to be a big fan of Nomico’s, but didn’t care for it my last time there, for lunch a couple years ago. The place was darker than I remembered and few other people eating there the weekday we went. Food was good enough, but I prefer many other places now, and don’t intend to return.
We did enjoy Eels very much this past spring.
Interesting, but the only negative reviews of Nomicos I could find were at least 2 years old. All recent ones gave high praise for food, service and value, for the lunch menu particularly. I will most likely stick with it, but if you can suggest an alternative I’d be happy to consider it.
We had a very good lunch at Nomicos in April. Unfortunately, the wine list no longer has the great bargains of the past.
Having read your and Andy’s recommendations I am changing my plans from Nomicos to Gemellus.
It is looking likely I will be there- definitely towards the beginning dates. Would love to join. Just let me know how it is coming together. I am one and dinner is reliable

I can be flexible- which ever more of the group is available because that could be fun. If you have a solo night that you would prefer a dining companion let me know. Lunch is possible, but I refrain from commiting because appointments come up and I do not like to cancel on people…

We can be very flexible, too, on dates/times. We’re traveling right now with spotty connections so I haven’t been able to delve into the restaurants, but we’re up for anything! Thanks for coordinating.
Generally we are in Paris in October, but this year we’ll be there in September, and January. I’m so disappointed I can’t join you.
Hi Everyone - so sad I cannot make it! We are in Paris now through 05NOV this year but I will be in Bordeaux volunteering/working at Chateau Biac! We visited in 2019, had an enchanting day with the owners so I am going back to repay their extreme kindness!!
I think our best bet would be Friday dinner at Amarante. I was considering Le Servan but I’m afraid it might get a bit loud, and Amarante was always pleasantly quiet when we were there. It’s also conveniently located. I would reserve for 7:30 as we will be staying with our friends in St. Maur and need to get back there at a reasonable hour. This would give us plenty of time for a leisurely meal. Please confirm that you would like to join us and whether you will be one or more people.
