I just got one of these CUISINART TOA-70 AIRFRYER TOASTER OVEN AND GRILL. Never used one before.
I want to air fry sweet potato wedges, but the unit says 3 pound capacity. Some recipes says use 1/2" wedges, single layer, but that rate, I’m gonna have to cook in 3-4 batches.
What if I pile them up?
If you pile them up, they won’t crisp up evenly because air needs to circulate around each piece. It’s best to stick with a single layer, even if it means doing a few batches. You can keep finished ones warm in the oven while the rest cook.

True with a lot of stuff in the air fryer - even frozen fried things that will get crisp fare much better if done in one layer or at least a small enough batch that you can ma ipulate them several times during the cooking process.
