MOAR.

That looks amazing! I visited Dandelion in SF and its chocolates are so good. (And pricey.) I’m certainly not getting that for my kids, but if anyone wants to buy one for me I’ll be happy in exchange to write a comprehensive review here every day of advent! Deal???

Ilchester Cheese Advent Calendar

This year’s calendar includes 24 pieces of 11 types of British Ilchester cheese

I think I’ll pick up a coffee advent calendar this year.

I like that this company offers both a pre-ground coffee option and a whole bean option.

I purchased this one.

The Soma Chocolate Advent Calendar, made in Toronto, is already sold out.

Toronto’s Spice Trader’s 24 day $250 Advent Calendar is also sold out.

Luckily, a $120 12 days of Xmas Calendar, to run between Xmas and Epiphany, is still available.
I purchased that one.

I’ve now purchased 3 Advent Calendars and 1 12 Days of Xmas Calendar for 2025.

I am stepping away from the smartphone.

I wonder if anyone here has tried that 12 Days of Cheesemas advent calendar? I was thinking about it as the gift for a household in our extended family that loves cheese.

I have not, but no doubt some of our more avid advent calendar shoppers will chime in

I’d LIKE to - but it’s large blocks of cheese - and thatsalotta cheese for a singleton as I am. And while I know the purpose of Advent calendars is to be surprised, I’d want to know what cheeses are in there first. LOL

Even for the two of us that would be a lot of cheese to finish. We had to stop ourselves from buying more than a small hunka Taleggio at DiBruno’s, tempting as the cheeses were, as we’ve been kinda cutting down on late-night cheese orgies.

SADZ. But necessary #LOLSOB

I have always wanted to try the Soma one, but never been organized enough to get it!

Bissinger’s Chocolates has a beautiful Versailles-themed Palace Advent Calendar for $225. They also have the 25-piece Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas assortment for $24. Guess which one I bought?
