I saw a page in the laterst BH&G with several advent calendars. See’s candies has one out there, too.

Now that would be a good one!

I read some pretty negative reviews later. For $80, I’ll pass.

I love See’s, but for $80-ish, I’d just have them ship me a 2-lb. box of only my faves.

Absolutely the better option, IMO. I think in this case, you’re shelling out a lot for the ā€œexperience,ā€ i.e. the cute packaging.

For $80, you can get a lot more than 24 pieces of See’s. Hell, go to Costco and get their See’s bargain coupons, always available at the end of the year.

Agree. The calendar I bought last year was beautiful and the chocolate selection was underwhelming.

This Oliviers advent calendar direct from them, not through W-S, for 2025 is $99.

I like this type of fill your own advent calendar.

We have a DIY advent, and it works out well. Everyone gets what they like, along with a few surprises.

Still on the fence. We’ve had the cheese and the hot sauce advent calendars from Aldi before, and the cheese one was rather repetitive, and the hot sauce one not particularly specific (green hot sauce? ummmm ) or good.

And most chocolate advent calendars are pretty low-quality.

I’d rather splurge on locally made treats.

If you’ve got money to burn, this is certainly one of the more aesthetically pleasing options out there…

Wow. That is mos def far beyond my budget.

Those are stunningly gorgeous - in little gift boxes as well. And two were from Boston/East Boston! But yeah - WAY out of any feasible price range.

Just imagine how much an all DUBAI CHOCOLATE calendar would be :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Another real bargain for whiskey lovers.

This has got to be better than the Aldi cheese calendar…

but I still won’t get it.
