This place use to be exceptionally good and cheap. Not cheap anymore, but still pretty good. The flavors carry you directly to the streets of Alexandria and Cairo. Exceptional fresh fish quality. You are invited to the counter to pick your food to be cooked. Sold by weight. I love their salads. The eggplant based ones are my favorite. No alcohol since the place is halal. I have not been there for more than a year. The difference - most of the customers are foodies instead of local Arab clientele.
This time we had spread of the salads along with butterflied sea bass sprinkled with coriander. Squid/ shrimp tagine.
