my nephew (not the one who just visited), is a whiskey expert who owns over 2k bottles(!) He says they’ll almost definitely be undrinkable.

I’m bitter from not being able to taste it, but I don’t buy the idea that these famed producers don’t know how to age their own spirits.
Edit: Just remembered, I’ve had a very small glass of a 50 year old Cognac before – and it was neither bitter nor tannic.

I found a review…I can’t believe, at that price point, that they actually sent samples. Crazy.
Final verdict: “Not exactly a bargain, but still a beauty.”

Not food…but food related. I got a portable 12v DC 30 liter refrigerator, on sale for $159. Seems like a good price. It runs off a car cigarette plug or a portable power bank/battery. Testing it now. So far so good, holding a steady temp of 40f, so I’d say Yay…until full field tested. Given Costco’s return policy, easy purchase but we’ll see. Phantomgogo MCD30 Electric Cooler

I love that bread. Alas, one of the reasons is that it contains enough sugar to be classified as cake.
