I was very surprised to see the WFD threads were so popular over the entire platform! It’s like a big kitchen island that everyone gathers around to kibbitz while enjoying food and drink that others are making…
As someone who loves data, this is an awesome post. Thank you @system.
I chuckled when I saw that 4 out of 5 of the top folks who gave out “likes” were from Greater Boston (including me). I guess we are friendlier than our reputation that precedes us.
Also, if I devoted as much time to my professional life as I do to this lovely place, I might be CEO by now.
I was sort of embarrassed to see myself on that list. But then figured WTH. Might as well keep on liking things I like.
They’re winning, that’sall that matters. They needed it after the last two weeks.

Prompted by the UK/Ireland stats upthread, I was prompted to look at my own 2021 stats. And, in spite of formal lockdowns, informal lockdowns and just being to damned scared to go out for dinner, we managed to eat in 58 different places and there was a further different 14 restaurants where we had home delivery or a “finish it off yourself” menu box.
Compares with the 105 different places in 2019, the last “normal” year. Much of the difference is the reduction in holiday travel.
