NYT comments are worth reading for amusement, not content. Especially recipe comments (“this recipe is terrible: I changed all the ingredients, used my own method and timings, and the result was horrible – what an awful recipe, NYT!”)

I skim them, bc some of their recipes can be off regarding a measurement or timing & some of them can be helpful. Not the ones that substitute all ingredients, then complain Those deserve all they get (to eat).

Fairly intense language for “dismissive”. But yes, more a general “hate” throughout the comments here.
My “go to” if I’m really burned out is pancakes (Breakfast for dinner). I keep this (just add water) pancake mix in the pantry for those nights when I’m burned out. I also keep blueberries in the freezer, so I can microwave a few and add them to Sunshine’s pancakes.
Its not the healthiest dinner, but neither of us goes to bed hungry.
