Leftover soba noodle salad and some more chips and salsa, cukes and ricotta with wine for my last adult playdate before hubby returns.

That is one gorgeous salad and looks as tasty as it is attractive! Did you like how the flavors worked together?

How adorable! is that?

Is kitty Balinese or partly so? That’s a little food on her nose isn’t it? The reason I ask is that DD’s cat is part Balinese but has a marking on her nose very similar looking and it looks like the cat has something stuck on her.

Gorgeous photo. I just want to dive right in, head first, mouth opened

Thank you @Lambchop ! Yes, it was as tasty as it was attractive, and it was pretty healthy too.

Thank you @Scubadoo97 ! They say you eat with your eyes :slightly_smiling_face: Besides being a great cook, Mrs. P is pretty artistic. I am one lucky man :relaxed:

Looks great
Love black beans and rice. A Tampa thing I guess. Love to make a big pot. It freezes well for a quick meal. Just make rice

I am really into beans of all kinds lately. Like the ultimate condiment vehicle.

This weeks Imperfect Produce box came with an artichoke and since there was another in the frig from the farmer’s market, we had artichokes and grilled cheese sammies. Sauce for dipping was shallots sauteed in butter, then blended up with some honey and dijon mustard.

We named them Marilyn and Larry (the neighbors who’s bushes they were found in.)

@Lambchop, he’s just a hood rat, not Balinese. Just a messy eater.

me too! I miss my time working near Chinatown (now a year ago), though I’m only a ten minute walk from my new office, so there’s no excuse.

will have to check out Yee’s some time soon.

Pork, yet again. This time stuffed. Weighed out at a pound apiece! We have left overs. Pork was tasty. Stuffing was blissful.

Very simple, catering to the under-two set: baked chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. I think TJ’s lemon pepper is a bit too pungent for his tastes.
