Continuing the discussion from Pearl Harbourfront Chinese Cuisine [Toronto] - dim sum with a view:
A few visits later, this small, light and airy cafe nestled in a newer residential development at the northern edge of Oakville has continued to deliver the most high quality fare across all the dim sum and noodle dishes we have tried. Everything arrives quickly and is flavourful, piping hot and fresh. The shrimp are always plump and crisp. Bao are fluffy, turnip cakes are smooth, and there is never a hint of reused oil.
No congee, but it’s worth the jaunt for us given this restaurant’s quality, and better consistency than the multiple places we’ve tried even in York Region. No dedicated parking but street parking is available which extends down the road in both directions. Haven’t tried the pre-order menu which includes dishes more typical of a Cantonese seafood restaurant, but anticipate it would be solid as well given the obvious skill in the kitchen.
