Second recommendation from a person who’d lived in Korea for several years. Arrived at Yummy to find a queue. We put our name and mobile number onto a touch screen - Join - that told us we were the tenth in line, ouch. My legs were tied so we hung in there and probably waited half an hour. We were sat at a communal table but not close to the other guests there. We chose a shrimp bibimbap and a sizzling bulgogi dish to share. Six (?) banchan arrived first. I dug into a few - hungry! ( Immediate offer to refill the empties.) The bibimbap was fresh looking with nicely grilled shrimp. It was as it always is, perhaps slightly better in presentation. The bulgogi looked like it was mostly onion and bean sprouts but digging in, there was quite a bit of well-seasoned beef in there. The kimchi was spicy so I went easy. My brother was with me and said it was easy to eat and he scraped everything clean. Their house Korean paste was sampled and… Not fiery! The service was considerate and fast. I don’t eat this food often but I’d go back. Highlight of the evening: there’s a discount for cash payment - the bill was $24.00
