I have also enjoyed MStreep’s onion slicing scene.
The bar scene from Husbands (1970) with John Cassavetes, Peter Falk, and Ben Gazzara. Directed by Cassavetes. About 8 minutes.
This is a mature scene rated PG-13. If you might be offended please don’t watch.
Life: “You Gonna Eat Your Cornbread?” | Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence - Bing video
Life (Eddie Murphy). Loved this movie
Office: Any time Dwight Schrute eats breakfast, I’m all eyes.
I have never seen Tampopo, guess what I’m going to watch tonight. Thanks for the shout-out.
Enjoy!
It’s awesome. I think the spaghetti scene is my favorite.
Steve McQueen in Bullitt (1968) shopping for dinner, after he parks his Mustang, at his neighborhood market on Taylor St in San Francisco, with a jazz score. Starts at the 1:00 mark and lasts for about 90 seconds.
Steve McQueen and Jacqueline Bisset having breakfast in Bullitt.
Anything with Steve McQueen is yummy!
Jeff Bridges tests the half & half in the dairy section of a Ralph’s Supermarket in South Pasadena in The Big Lebowski
(1998). Begins at about the 1:50 mark.
I always thought the food should have been listed in the credits of this film with top billing.
(THE COOK, THE THIEF, HIS WIFE AND HER LOVER, 1989, Peter Greenaway)
My fave!
We’re on a mission from God!!
Another favorite movie! (I went to college in Chicago, so there’s that connection). Plus … I’m OLD!
“Orange whip? Orange whip? Three orange whips!”
Great movie. It should be pointed out, when the (Illinois) Nazis are falling to their deaths, that was a scene filmed in my hometown of M’waukee where we had a bridge that was unfinished at the time. “I’ve always loved you.”
The scene where Elwood shares his toast making secrets is priceless.
