Your 7 Bottle bar; what’s in it?

I have many more bottles than just 7… But if I had to limit my collection to 7 they would be:

  1. Tanqueray no10 gin
  2. Plantation Three Stars rum
  3. El Jimador tequila
  4. Neisson Blanc rhum
  5. Nouilly Prat Original Dry
  6. Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
  7. Campari Rosso
  8. Cointreau

(I need one more!)
(And of course everyone will now know my favourite cocktails)
(Of course I also need my regular stash, e.g. at least a good whiskey, cognac, grappa, and port…)

I was at a cafe in Naxos way back in the pre Covid days and struck up a conversation with the owner. He pulled an old, obviously used over and over, bottle of home made sour cherry liqueur off the back shelf and we had a couple small glasses as we chatted over the next hour or so.
I have never found its like again, and I have tried. There is a special place in heaven for the better versions of home made liqueurs.
He also shared a rolled “lamb” meat that he toasted in the oven for a few minutes, then served on home made bread. Some sort of Greek roulade? I think it was a nice young goat, but he said lamb, so lamb it is. Both were good but the sour cherry liqueur was heavenly.
