Your 7 Bottle bar; what’s in it?

Interesting, I’ll look for #2 and #3. I have a bottle of Inga Moscato that is a bit rough. Poli is a stalwart, reasonably smooth and widely available. My favorites are from Berta, though I can only afford their entry level. Also not widely available.

Merge the espresso and grappa for a caffè corretto.

Our “house” drink is a Negroni. Poured most days at 5:15 pm after I have my mise en place for dinner. So entrenched that when I was chair of a board, we started meetings that way. :tumbler_glass:

A fine practice! With us it’s a whisky & water for me and a white wine for the boss. 6.00pm sharp every evening. For 30 years. Did someone say “get a life”?

Exactly the same for both our sets of parents in their day actually, so it’s a bit ingrained!

My homemade (reader’s choice) limoncello or blueberry liqueur(although yesterday has made me ponder the existence of either)

Cocktail hour here is typically 4 or 5 to 6 pm but it’s fluid. When the moment strikes me I’m like Moses descending Mount Sinai delivering an edict.

We’re also Irish fans, both Republican and Unionist bottlings suit us, as well as being known fans of the other browns – Scotch and bourbon.

My choices in my hypothetical 7 bottle bar would align with yours…but I may include Hat Trick.

I don’t know that one…will look it up.

One favorite I don’t have on hand right now is Junipero. Others we do have on hand are St. George Terroir, Hayman’s Old Tom, St. George Dry Rye Reposado (beautiful in a Martinez), and Russell Henry Dark (ditto). All good stuff.

A French liqueur first produced in 1880, and it is a “cognac - brandy” with essence of bitter orange.

Sorry, I am on the High Speed AVE Train going from Madrid to Barcelona.

The brand is Cordon Rouge.

I’m a bit of a Grand Marnier fan too.
