Very much so - although we raise two fingers in a"V" (knuckles outward).

Interestingly, areas which have the lowest percentage of immigrants tended to vote to leave and the converse also occured. So, a raising of two fingers combined with a “fear” of immigration.

And, yes, understood what you’d meant about folk accepting there would be an economic downturn - although the Leave campaign was full of the economic joys that would accrue (although they failed to produce a shred of evidence in their position).

Well, we won’t know the Brexit full impact later, or possibly never. Sometime, in life, you can only make the decision once, and you have no way to know what the outcome of the other decision will be.
