While exploring Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge on Sunday, I stopped in this Yemeni restaurant that was reviewed very favorably by Pete Wells:

All the food I saw looked great. I’ll recommened Yemenat for an HO group lunch or dinner.
Sounds great, love their flavors
I’ve had a hankering for a Yemeni for a while, as you know, but I may need to hit Yemen Cafe first.
(Hope they got a boost from it being Wells’ last review.)
ETA: Bit curious whether the haneeth “baked to its melting point in a low oven” per Wells or pressure-cooked given that the menu says “slow cooked to perfection under high pressure“
