I hope you’re feeling better now - no fun at all being sick, and downright worrisome. Yes, low blood sodium levels are very much a concern, as you can have seizures and possibly die. I had an experience with it too in the hospital last year. No seizures, fortunately!!

Do you grind fresh every day? What do you do with the leftovers?

I love me a good grind of pepper. and when I use it I am generous. My daughter got me a ceramic ratchet grinder a few years ago to save my wrists from the traditional grind and I never looked back. It’s the bomb! Mine is from Sur la Table and I love it!! This shows salt but I use mine with pepper.
