No, I haven’t suddenly taken up golf. We’d been up early, leaving a cruise ship for the drive home. So, we knew we’d be in need of a second breakfast. Google had found a number of places just off the A34. This one called when the need for caffeine became urgent. Lovely morning so we sat outside. Smoked streaky bacon sandwich for herself – tasty, buttered thick cut bread. And a sausage sandwich for me. Always a risk ordering sausage in a new place – they can be vile but these were from a local butcher so worth the risk. Good gamble. Decent coffee, as well. Then it was back on the road for another few hours.
