Surprised no one has posted about Willie Mae’s take out/delivery option thru Colony in West LA. It started yesterday. I ordered the 2 chicken meal with side and corn muffin. It was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, and I’ve had Howlin’ Ray’s multiple times. Order thru the Colony website as you can expect a 1 hour wait.
The crust was delicately crispy with just the right amount of heat, not too hot.
The restaurant will open later this year.
