Will Yu Bo ever open a restaurant in LA?

Yu Bo, the pioneering chef from Chengdu who runs Yu’s Family Kitchen, or Yu Jia Chu Fang that pushes the boundaries of Sichuanese cuisine, spends a lot of time between LA and Chengdu in recent years. In a recent LA Times article, Fuchsia Dunlop suggested that the chef would like to something more permanent in LA. And if he ever opens a restaurant there that matches the exacting standards at Yu’s Family Kitchen, I am going, like, immediately.
