I’ll be exploring Wiarton, Sauble Beach and the Bruce Peninsula this summer.

Local specialties include Lake Huron Whitefish.

Does anyone have any favourite spots?

Interestingly, most of the lamb sold at Sanagan’s Meat Locker, my go-to butcher in Toronto, is raised on farms in the Wiarton area.

I’ll report back.

Greek at Pharos in Tobermory inside the Princess Hotel. I had eaten at the Princess Hotel’s previous restaurant in 2005.
