I haven’t visited any in a long time, but so far as I can recall, all the Pappas brothers’ chains seem well-run. Besides Pappadeaux, I’ve tried their BBQ and Tex-Mex joints and my old boss raved about their steakhouse.
LoL - wonder if your friends were pulling your leg? They do have a veggie wrap that my vegetarian daughter liked. (But I don’t know how long they’ve had it on the menu)
