Sheesh. There are already few folks to help you on the floor of the store now.
Maybe they’d do better by carrying more organic stuff and stop saying that conventional is as good or better. Not their demographic.

1500 Lay offs. IMO, it’s just the beginning.
philosophically, they went off the rails a looooooong time ago. they claim to have 2000 job opening so these folks getting laid off can easily find new jobs within the organization. they are leaving unsaid that they will no doubt be taken back at lower wages, and probably as part-time workers so not available for benefits.
the focus of more and more “grocery” stores is selling prepared foods at an egregious mark-up and wf is happy to be on that party bus.
