All’s well that ends well!
Perzackly.
It occurred to me that possibly this was her intention all along, but I was too ready to be indignant to consider it.
I suspected so, too! But didn’t want to set false expectations.
It’s kind of you to put it that way
That’s great! I’m glad it all worked out so well for you.
For those of you curious about my friend’s amazing breath workshop, she is offering a free recording of one of her sessions here — just scroll down to the Recording of Breathwork for Solace and sign up, and she’ll email you the recording. It’s a very generous offer on her end.
It’s such a healing practice, and beats throwing dry January into the wind
May your favorite team win and you consume responsibly today. Back to the grindstone tomorrow.
What? Is there some sports thing going on today?
A good time to go grocery shopping. Stores will be empty. However, staff will be inattentive or extremely pissed off.
I used to shop on Stupid Bowl Sunday. One year the produce guy gave me the huge helium football balloons that were on display in his department. He was trying to clean up the displays early. Score!
With long ribbon tails, they make really good cat toys.
Early the day of my foster brother’s wedding we rented a helium tank to decorate the reception hall with balloons.
For some reason we got a wild hair and decided to go through a Burger King drive-through and make our orders, and then pay/pickup at the window, while huffing helium.
We were still doing sotto voce chipmunk voices at each other and chuckling as his bride to be was being walked down the aisle by her father.
LMAO!!! Great story!
I have the uncanny ability to do the chipmunk voice sans any helium, so those properties are lost on me. My mom used to pimp me out in her office building as a 10 year old to sing the chipmunk song to her colleagues, and I’d usually get tossed a DM (that’s Deutschmark, not direct msg) or 2 for it.
The beginning of my international singing career
