You’re almost there: Whale Oil Beef Hooked
It needs the Irish accent. ![]()
Thanks for the correction. It’s been a while since I seen/heard that one. It’s brill!
What’s killing me is that I hit refresh right after reading your comment, and I momentarily saw (but then forgot) who it was that had become anonymized.
Old man brain farte stuffe.
Amandarama. AFAIK, she’s still around, but I could be wrong.
Is that a work comment, or a more general “life” observation?
If the latter, that’s where the wine / booze / weed comes in ![]()
Or better company!
Today it was a work comment.
But that’s not to say I haven’t used ii in my personal life…or at the stupidmarket…or on Massachusetts roads. ![]()
That is where a significant percentage of MAssHoles can be found!
Jersey drivers are worse.
Fight me about it.
Hey! I resemble that ![]()
So you agree? ![]()
And I’m a former Jersey driver - AND now I’m a Masshole.
You wanna piece of me? ![]()
Get in line.
Mrs. P definitely does ![]()
Luckily my only experiences driving in NJ were more rural.
Mine were Philly and surroundings. “Wow” is all I can say, and I’m an… efficient driver.
Efficient, but not crazy or suicidal.
Just a little update… Sunshine’s surgery went fine.
I got a little soup and a little mashed potatoes into her when we got home, then she went to bed. She was very sleepy/tired from the day.
I have to admit – so was I.
I’m going to puree a little (leftover) Hoover Stew for dinner tonight. I don’t know if she’ll want any lunch, as she is still sleeping. If she wants some lunch, I’ve got some cream of wheat in stock, so maybe that or some oatmeal. We’ll see.
The surgeon was happy with surgery, but we won’t know if it all worked for two weeks.
Thanks again for all of the “Soft Food” suggestions!!
Thanks so much for the update, Dan! You both must be so relieved the surgery is done with, and I hope it did all it needed to do to give Sunshine her voice back.
You’re such a great partner to her in all of this.
Thank you…
I just want her back to being happy. She has been extremely frustrated that she can’t talk.
While I was preparing dinner she did “text” her brother and sister that all went fine and that she’d call them when she can actually talk to them.
On the way, home she had a lot to communicate and gesturing wasn’t cutting it. I told her to write it down on her notebook and I would read it at the next stop light. I guess we should have played a game of charades before the operation instead of “Scrabble”. ![]()
Glad to hear it went well and quick! Happy healing!![]()
