Glad you’re enjoying it! If you can believe it, our very own @NotJrvedivici once had plans to hire my band to play at one of his Jersey establishments. Sadly, that never panned out.
Do you ever play in Portland, OR? Let me know if you do and I’ll make a point of showing up.
That is so kind of you to say!
Unfortunately, we’re pretty tied to the Northeast of the country. But … never say never
I kind of figured that. Portland used to have a lot of jazz and bules clubs. Sadly, a good number of them are long gone. Replaced by clubs with DJ’s.
Well if you’re looking for live music in Portland, I believe Banshee Tree will be performing there this month: https://www.banshee-tree.com/shows
I hear the drummer is fabulous!
She’ll also be in Portland in March. Not sure about her drummer, though . . . my favorite drummer only tours with her when Banshee is idle.
Thanks. My first impression is that they are a little too bluegrass for my husband’s taste. I added Bansheetree to my list to listen to later. They sound like fun, judging for the one song I listened to.
I’ll admit, their music isn’t really to my taste . . . Lindsay is definitely bluesgrass. I do have the Banshee CD and even listened to it once. Family members seem to like it and since the drummer is my niece, and you asked about Portland, I figured I’d give them a plug
What is a profile page?

Looks like @shrinkrap has outpaced you in the views category. Now I’m feeling inadequate again.
Aw, dang. How am I supposed to feel important now?
I believe I remember seeing some that were pushing 2K, but offhand don’t remember who.
Wonder if it’s “unique” views? Probably so, given one must be logged in to view a viewable profile (some folks have profiles locked down and cannot be viewed).
I have no idea. I was kidding about all of it
New pup-dog is still improving on his skills. He’s fine with other dogs in the training and hasn’t destroyed stuff around here in quite a while.
Here’s my old dog; Lab mom and Springer Spaniel dad (pound puppy). He’s pushing 14 years old and is getting better accustomed to the new pup but still has his moments.
My daughters like to sew, crochet, knit and were when younger always making clothes for this dog and his brother (Lab mom and Beagle dad) who died about a year ago.
As you might glean from the photos, he’s not too happy to have had their latest in canine haute couture designs inflicted on him.
Sunday was training day. Old Dog was not happy to have me leave the house with the new pup for his training session, and decided to take it out on a couple of bags of flour in the pantry.
He hasn’t torn anything up since he was a wee lad. Guess he must have been pretty frustrated, but why the flour?
C’mon. Very simple answer.
IT MAKES THE BEST MESS!
OR he’s becoming a cat and taking it (whatever “it” is) out on you when you least expect it. (Adorable dog, BTW!)
Dear Mother Nature,
What did I do to make you to make you so angry with me. Whatever it was, I promise I’ll do better. Please send all this rain to someone who needs it more than I do.
Your obedient servant,

My neighbor was surfing around on Amazon when an end table caught her eye. She needed two of them and the measurements were perfect. The description did say “some assembly required”. When they arrived she opened the box, attempted to make heads or tails of the directions and called me for help.
Although this was not IKEA, the directions reminded me of IKEA furniture with just pictures… no words. I have to admit it was a bit challenging, but I managed to put them together. And yes, they fit perfectly (in her living room) and my neighbor was quite happy with the end product.
