New York Times’ Easiest Chicken Noodle Soup. The noodle is a German mini-lasagne egg noodle we found at World Market this week. Toasted stirato on the side.

Kale, shallots, and parsley from the garden.

I also picked up something from Bechtle called a Soup Noodle. I thought I’d try these for a Sopa De Fideo I’ve been wanting to make.

Those are used a lot in German soups, often bouillon type with little diced carrots and peas.

I would be a happy happy camper with that tomato and mozz plate.

Last night, BF perfected his Bourbon Chicken recipe by using potato starch from the Asian market instead of corn starch. Made for a much crunchier texture which held up to the sauce laced with Maker’s Mark.

I’d love to get some details!

Last night I made Italian chicken breast cutlets and only realized when most were in the pan that I forgot an egg wash. Whoops. Marsala braised radishes and angel hair with homemade red sauce alongside, as well as a green salad.

Tonight was a sesame red cabbage slaw, chicken potstickers with dipping sauce, Mizuna with peanut dressing, salted edamame, and buttered sugar snap peas (slightly overcooked by DH). I made a scallion, ginger, and garlic scape dumpling sauce that was really good. Kiddo ate heartily! :raised_hands:t2:

Fettuccine in a lemony garlic cream sauce to use up some half-and-half I had bought that I didn’t yet need. (Buy ONLY from your list, Linda!).

I added chopped sauteed asparagus and some chopped sauteed pancetta to use both up, augmented with chopped prosciutto. Can’t see the sauteed asparagus, but it’s in there.

And since it’s National Wine Day, plus my virtual Thursday (because I’m taking Friday and Tuesday as PTO days), there was wine.

Cheers everyone. We need something good in this insane world of ours. If wine makes it good, I’m all for it. Otherwise, go in for the hugs. And tell those close to you how much you love them.
