You’ve become quite the pro in your sushi making!

Thank you!! I think the old saying “practice makes perfect” applies here, although my rolls are far from perfect; they get better with each try.

I thought I remembered purchasing some imitation crab and putting it in the chest freezer for when avocados went on sale. After digging though and emptying about 75% of the freezer I finally found it.

Grilled cheese burger, fries with aoili and a dill pickle. Burger was grass fed beef with finely ground bacon and grease. Mayo, tomato, ketchup, onion, patty, slices of velveeta :open_mouth:, mustard on a toasted ciabatta bun.

Now, that is the proper amount of cheese for a boygah.

And finely ground bacon & bacon grease? Be still my heart*.

*But not indefinitely one hopes :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

We finally have a new Indian restaurant in town! Dunno if we’ll check them out for dinner tonight - depending on what goodies we bring home from the Italian deli, but I’m excited. The two Indian places we have plus the Pakistani place aren’t ‘all that.’

Delhi Junction has a wide selection of dishes, many of which I’ve never tried :star_struck:

What’s on the plate with the misoyaki fish?

Mushroom glocchi

That’s crispy rice topped with baby bok choy, in a ginger and yuzu sauce. This is Mrs. P’s favorite dish, and she orders it almost every time.

I would too!

I’m always looking for ideas for sides for miso cod!

Me as well.
I keep the Boondi on the side and add as I eat!

I with you on the Noodles, looks good on Rice as well.

Had another thought, with Rice I would do it like a Cơm Tấm (broken Rice Plate)
Not my Photo.

When I was growing up in Sausalito, CA, there was a Danish bakery on the main street that made wonderful almond horns. I’m not a big sweets person but I loved those.

I wish I could eat them more often, but the fact that they are hard to find is probably a blessing because of how much weight I’d gain if I had easy access to them!

I think that all the Bay Area Danish Bakeries are kaputt now. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Unremarkable dinner as usual but colorful so B said “post it!”

Tacos. Sautéed fancy farm ground beef for the guys. Kidney beans for me. Cocktail tomatoes/pickled red cabbage/cilantro/scallion/rice/jalapenos/shredded cheese.
