What's for breakfast?

Toast, made in casa ricotta, sautéed tomatoes, evoo, basil.

The fine textured sourdough discard bread was sliced a half inch thick for the toast.

A mini Irish soda bread served with blackberry jam. I was in the mood for soda bread and made what I thought would be an appropriately sized amount for this ramekin. In fact, I should have put it in two ramekins, I was lucky it didn’t overflow the container.
In spite of that, it hit the spot and removed easily from the ramekin, but next time it will be in two.

Egg on egg violence.

Love it.

I wish I had some uni so I could make egg on egg on egg. (Which I have had!)

Damn.

You could have had an egg-on-egg-on-egg if you had sliced a hardboiled egg into thick slices and put the egg salad and roe on top of the slice. Just sayin’.

A proper, protein-PACKED meal after a strenuous leg day with my boo

Strammer Max with Wegner’s off-the-bone ham, havarti, cream cheese, scallions, local eggses. One unfortunately broke when I cracked it in the pan.

Ate it anyway

Also a side of smacked cukes I made yesterday, leaving me with scary dragon breath for the remainder of the afternoon. Good thing I’m not singing at anyone today :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
