What's for breakfast? (2024)

1 hour fresh off the line kokanee with hollandaise and asparagus! Gone to heaven. The kitties got ‘caviar’. Sorry, no pix.

That’s an extravagant breakfast!

Yes, especially for the felines. They’ve never had roe before. I’d like to know that they were thinking when the little orbs broke in their little mouthies.

A tiny slice (one end of the fancy sammich bread from Mighty Bread) with scallion cream cheese & trout roe from Biedermann’s.

Oh my, the roe here looks much like the Kokanee roe I was gifted yesterday. The taste left much to be desired, but the pop-pop-pop was fun. Kitties turned their noses up to it. Their loss.

I much prefer trout roe over fancier caviar. It’s the perfect size, the perfect pop, the perfect flavor. And it’s so GD purtty, too

Part of a healthy, nutritious well balanced breakfast!!
Also had a homemade ham/egg and cheese on a toasted English muffin but was in too much of a rush to snap a pic.
Frangipane/almond croissant. :croissant: :yum:

It’s raining this morning. The weather calls for oatmeal, and semi-whole-wheat blueberry muffins.

One yolk broke in the pan :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:so I decided to smash (hash?) it all up.

Why you having a SADZ? It was fuckin’ delicious.

I’m sadz cause you broke an egg in the pan and then you got madz and smashed it :sob:

If it’s any consolation I enjoyed both the smashing and the eating part

Individual egg bakes with gruyere cheese, zucchini, and Italian seasoning. Served with pan-toasted slices of cake d’Alsace (a savory bread with bacon bits and more gruyere).

Oooh! That sounds so good (and looks beautiful, as usual). I love zukes and gruyere

Don’t be eating those frozen waffle products being dinged right now because of Listeria. Check your trusted news source for info.
