What’s up with the hake obsession? It’s a fine, sustainable fish. However to me the taste and texture really aren’t anything special. I’m was trying to pick a place for dinner tonight and 2 of my choices were Table and Juliet. I was excited to see they both had availability on this slow week. I was somewhat disappointed that they are both featuring hake. I mean I don’t hate it, but it also doesn’t excite me much. I have never been to Juliet for dinner, however hake and pork belly have probably been the main course options on 3 of my 4 visits to Table. I enjoyed it the first time, but they need to branch out a bit. We’d eat there more often is they did.
Any last minute suggestions for a great meal?
