If the fish wasn’t frozen at all before I would be worried about parasites in the fish. Fish is also frozen to kill those parasites
Thank you!
Sort of the timpano of the South!
I am old enough that I have pretty much all the non-consumable stuff I’ll ever need or want, and I am a big proponent of buying local. So for me it’s down to consumables I just cannot find in Austin. The top of my list of such includes food and a few non-food items:
La Guinelle Banyuls vinegar
Jacobsen’s salt in big bags
Norfolk Manor piccalilli
Roland Dijon in big jars
Fines Herbes
There were once others, like Tiptree Little Scarlet, that got so pricey I found good, albeit lesser, alternatives.
In the non-food consumables:
Blueland products, especially dishwasher and laundry tablets
Personna MiUSA DE razor blades
Martin de Candre shaving soap
Also, in my ongoing quest to have less plastic around me, an Amish corn straw broom, an Old City dust brush, and a DQB palmyra pushbroom.
Just as long as she remembers how to drive herself back home.

Lately for myself. Still on the counter in the box .2 , bags of lavazza whole bean coffee. A non slip bathtub mat . Red star active dry yeast. Diamond crystal kohsher salt. 2, king Arthur organic bread flour. 14 × 16 loyds Detroit style pan , and diastic malt .
Funny story… The last time I needed yeast, I was playing around on Amazon.com and placed this 2 pound offering into my cart to see what the shipping would be. A message popped up that I could use my credit card points to pay for the yeast.
So I got it for FREE!!
YEA!!
