Wine and Mac & Cheese–to see which makes me black out first!
Hahahaha
That sounds like a perfect plan!
About gummies: Although American (alas, these days) I’ve lived a couple of years in Germany, and I know my gummies. I’ve also lived in Indiana, where Albanese gummies are made and self-advertised as the world’s best gummies. I’m not about to argue. They’re good. Recommend Squish from Canada, if you haven’t tried them.
I think some people are talking about the other kind of gummies.
…
Same here. I like Cheez-Its as much as crunchy Cheetos, and I really like crunchy Cheetos. A box of Cheez-Its lasts 3-4 days here, but I recently discovered that I’m not the only one snarfing them down. Which is a relief.
They are excellent gummy bears. I especially love their sour bears - tart all the way through!
Have you visited the factory in Solingen?
Knives and Gummis?
Hilariously, my autocorrect wants to change Gummis to Hummus.
Yeah. Solingen also has a big concert venue, so it’s properly knives, gummies and Marilyn Manson.
It hadn’t even occurred to me people were talking about anything EXCEPT weed gummies. I don’t know that I’ve seen people have opinions about non-weed gummies since the Tom Baker run of Dr. Who and his thing about Jelly Babies, which had to be explained to me as an American teenager.
I’ve never even tried a weed gummi. Lol.
German and Polish Haribo do make ppl happy!
Not crazy about British jelly tots or jelly babies. Weird texture, corn starchy coating. Not fruity or tart enough.
The only thing I know about regular candy gummies is that there is a brand of sugar free gummy bears that are sweetened with (I think) xylitol. Enough of this sweetener will trigger, let’s call it, a dire restroom emergency, depending on one’s sensitivity and the amount eaten.
The reviews are quite the read:
A little diarrhea isn’t too bad compared to the cancer you will get from some of artificial coloring which is banned in many European countries. TiO2 isn’t also the greatest addition to food with questions around nano-particles
I feel like there’s a Debbie Downer moment in here.
Baked potato. Lots of butter and sour cream.
Salt & pepper too. Eat the whole thing
And wine.
