A Clover Club with not much foam. 2oz gin, 0.5 oz simple syrup, about 4 raspberries, 0.5 oz lemon juice, 1 egg white. Muddle raspberries and syrup. Add rest of ingredients and dry shake (I neglected to do this part hence the lack of foam). Add ice and shake, strain into glass.
A Martinez, with gin, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters (we don’t have any maraschino liqueur, but we have to remedy that soon).
Manhattan with peychauds and rhubarb bitters

A CoronaVirus find…
Buried deep in the recesses of our spare bedroom closet, this was found under about an inch of dust. Hidden in place for maybe the past 20 years. (we had teenagers back then)
Enough for just two Dickel Rye Manhattans. Just enough.
What else were the kids concealing from the parental units ?
As I remember it, I hid this away from prying eyes and appetites.
Nice
Margarita time! I found a recipe that uses Cointreau instead of triple sec.
Just bought a bottle of Cointreau for margaritas, on Saturday. Much better than Triple Sec, IMO. Grand Marnier works in a pinch, as well, though both are a bit $$.
A Tommy’s Margarita for Cinco de Mayo - 2oz tequila (I used El Tesoro Reposado), 1oz lime juice, and 0.5oz agave syrup. Shake until cold and strain into glass with or without ice.
Not sure if this belongs here or in the beer thread.
A shot of Wild Turkey and a bottle of the Champagne of Beers.
Amusing and entertaining read. Thank you for posting it.
Damn @Mr_Happy are you feeling nostalgic? I haven’t had a Miller High Life since I was 16.
Well it is the champagne of beers! Also sometimes a light tasting beer goes well with bourbon as a chaser.
Yeah, we wouldn’t reach for an IPA to wash down any shot, let alone dunk the shot into it.
