I read that show isn’t being renewed for next season. I’m thinking we’re reaching peak chef shows and everyone is getting a bit burned out. Did read some funny descriptions of the show online and the constant glams shots of Padma with hair blowing in the wind…

Based on the edit, I was for certain it was the other chef who was going to win, but both chefs made such amazing looking dishes. I totally missed the local New England connection of the winner! Happy to be rooting for the somewhat hometown chef - loved that the winner was like the sleeper hitman/hitwoman the entire series.

I tried to watch the final but haven’t been able to yet. I think I’m sick of Top Chef too. Oh, was that me saying that???
I kind of agree. Last week’s embarrassing tie in on top chef to some kind of dishwasher soap was eye rollingly bad. Is bravo so hard up that they can’t just have commercials and stop with the tacky product placement?
My fave cooking show is Great British Menu and even though I’m not a sweets person the British (and other countries) Baking Show is always great.
I understand a lot of people don’t like the tie ins but I much prefer them to commercials for other shows on Bravo.
Also, I happen love the product! 
But don’t we have commercials also?

Yeah, I was just saying that we get product tie ins and commercials on top chef. Seems like they could do just one. British shows don’t seem to have commercials…maybe government subsidizes their stations.
