I miss that show so much.
We were too tipsy last night to catch up on the latest The Pitt, so we caught a couple of Scrubs episodes, which we’d totes forgotten about.
I got 90 days of AppleTV+ with a new iPhone, so we dove into Severence, which we love. Already a few seasons into season 2. Love the weird vibe and especially the post-human corporate hellscape architecture.
I’m a couple episodes into The Studio. Funny, but a little too cringey to binge for too many in a row. Katherine Hahn is, as always, utterly brilliant. I wonder how they’ll handle O’Hara’s passing.
I was excited to find Strange Planet, based on the Nathan Pyle strips. Alas, the humor flattens out when stretched over 30 minutes. Unlikely to watch more.
Central Park is 3 seasons of an animated musical sitcom by the same team as Bob’s Burgers and The Great North. Very cute.
We’re looking forward to getting through Plurbius and Murderbot. We’re both curious about all the Ted Lasso buzz. I know it’s more recent seasons have been divisive.
It gets better, according to me. Until the 4th or 5th episode, I couldn’t figure out why I was supposed to care about these people.
Thumbs up. I generally like a crazy premise series, like Lost and The Leftovers and Station Eleven, and this is that.
Thumbs down. This did absolutely nothing for me. We made it through two episodes and bailed.
Loved S1 of Severance, was a little disappointed in S2.
The Studio was fun, even tho I’m not cray about Seth Rogen.
Loved Pluribus & thought Murderbot was hilarious.
Ted Lasso turned into a sentimental pile o’ sappiness after the excellent S1. Quit halfway into the first episode of S2.
Then you’ll absolutely love the NYT’s interview with her about people like you ![]()
I’m rewatching Lonesome Dove, it’s still brilliant. I had forgotten about the pigs, I love those pigs.
Love the Studio. Ted Lasso is great first season, good the second season and ridiculous the third season. Loved Acapulco and Schmigadoon. First season of Drops of God was excellent, second season decent. Love Loot, looking forward to New season of Criminal Record and Slow Horses is probably one of my favorites show of all time.
I’m a fan of Bad Sisters, the first season in particular.
I liked it and also found it infuriating, because they all make the wrong decisions about EVERYTHING. Like, no one is this bad at thinking things through.
Claes Bang was amazing in this. I wanted to kill him so hardddd ![]()
Yeah ended up liking the husband or at least he did a great job with the character.
It’s not bad. I watch it while I’m making dinner.
Same. I watched one or two but gave up. Her character on Hacks has gotten a bit less obnoxious.
I hated the husband, but he was at least not an idiot!
Embarrassed to admit I watched Thrash on Netflix. It was not good.

Solid gold.
The finale of DTF: St. Louis. Wow. That ending hit me so hard I was bawling. What a touching, strange, sad tale of human loneliness, of connection, and lack thereof. Curious to find out what else Stephen Conrad’s been up to.
Needed a happy cleanse & watched the recent Rooster, which was actually kinda funny. The ending in particular.
We tried Big Mistakes on Netflix. Not our style, too much frantic yakking. Switched to
The Woman in Cabin 10, also NF, which wasn’t great but fairly entertaining. The book was much better.
