Simply Red - Sunrise
I really like this track, remixed Hall & Oats beats.
One of my guilty pleasures is listening to Simply Redâs The Best Of⌠Not often, but your post is triggering me to do so todayâŚ
Farewell Irene
Beethoven symphony no.2
Interesting to read that Irene Cara and co-writers didnât write the Flashdance song until After they had actually watched the final scene on film. And oh what a scene it was. A perfect song for a perfect ending.
ETA: Thought I could bypass all those YouTubers who donât like to share. Sorry about that.
Saw this live version on my instagram, hadnât seen it before.
I was hoping to post a specific version of Rapperâs Delight that includes the EPIC food verse, but Iâve not been able to find it. My mom had the album and I still know all the words, but most versions on youtube or elsewhere have completely different lyrics. Wah.
Kennyâs drumming fit the Faces well
His time in the Who sucked though.
All the bombastic assault of Keith vanished.
I was so glad when Zac took over.
i concur. that whole live at leeds summertime blues stuff is awesome.
Ron Wood found a nice niche with the Stones too he doesnât get nearly enough credit.
faces have that awesome organ sound (Ian McClagan) tooâŚreally a powerhouse band for me
another related group of course from the small faces after rod took over that later did some cool things tooâŚsteve marriott peter frampton et al
Any Canterbury fans here? I enjoy Gong, Steve Hillage, Caravan, etc.
This whole record is really nice
The Gong Flying Teapot Trilogy is pretty epic stuff too for this music fan - I really donât know another rock band that more successfully incorporates horns, reed instruments and speedy jazz drumming especially.
whole record is a trip waiting to happen
Caravan, the vocals anyways, may appeal to your new wave side @damiano - obviously kicked up and a decade before all that
