A few from Rushmore
Dodgeball was so funny… And Rushmore had good songs indeed, maybe my favourite of Wes Anderson’s films.
nice deer hunter clip
i think it’s easily the best wes anderson film. Oh, are they?
the making time (the creation) part cracks me up
I cant get Christopher Cross songs out of my mind . I sang to myself Arthur’s theme while waiting to pull out into traffic. Sitting at a stoplight I had sailing on my mind.
Gerry’s great but even he has to nod to the gloriy of the saxophone player here

Someone posted Say it isn’t so by Hall & Oates the other day. They deserve more air time!
Billy the Kid by Aaron Copland, a favorite since early childhood.
If you want more Hall & Oates, my favorite.
Classic - mix of reggae, disco, funk.
Had only known the cover by Joao Gilberto, but I like the original just as much.
And speaking of Brazilian music…
As good as Paul’s version?? Great album, one of those rare albums you can just put on repeat for hours. The Greatest Hits of Sergio Mendes and Brasil ‘66. I have a close friend who is a professional - classical - violin player, in a quartet. This is one of her favourite albums. Somehow Sergio Mendes is quite popular among professional musicians.
Someone please chip in before I bore everyone to death with these quirky songs from the 60s!
Ah well, Burt Bacharach…
