What are you listening to?

Roxy Music - Avalon was one of the first albums I can remember as a young kid (I was around 10 years old, think I heard it in 1984 first time). And I still love and play that album.

But the crazy thing is knowing that Brian Eno was in that band for a short period. I love Eno, knew him first from U2 mid 80s, and then only afterwards I discovered his solo work.

Super cool. I got into Roxy music after “finishing” the bowie, mott, ronson, Ian hunter ouvre

I never got into their whole yacht rock genre they invented fully but they are the best of that !

Not huge into T Rex (to me a lot sounds the same) but some good stuff in that genre too

I saw them 3 or 4 times. First time - Auditorium Theatre in Chicago for the Country Life tour.
My favorite theatre ever.

They’re ok but you missed the best most influential band out of Massachusetts. The Pixies. So many great songs.

Whaaaaat? There is no justice in the world of JoJo needs a day job.
I’ve seen him a few times, but a couple years ago I was walking to see him at a small place in SF and realized we were walking behind him - he had his guitar on his way to the venue - must have taken public transit.

Live from Daryl’s House is a really cool series that sometimes involves cooking. This one with Billy Gibbons making guacamole is memorable (at about 22:30 marker).
