I don’t speak Greek, but there’s something very profound-sounding about this song.

I discovered this singer via Beethoven; she’s one of the soloists in one of Herbert von Karajan’s recordings of the Ninth.

Mother’s favorite song, sung by Nancy Ames, tho.

Got a qobuz trial subscription. Nice to have a different algorhythm versus spotify, so I get to hear different music. Like this Pavarotti/ Karajan rendition of La Boheme.

Kronos Quartet, GG Park Bandshell SF
They also covered House of the Rising Sun, a Sigur Rose song and did some out there stuff involving telephones. Great show.

Love the Brunettes - too bad they are no more. I saw them open for Clap You Hands Say Yeah a few years back and was blown away by their set.

Love when a band does that. I haven’t done a deep dive yet, only know this one and Mars Loves Venus. I play both often.

Quasimodo by Clifford Jordan. Part of a birthday tribute of Charlie ‘Bird’ Parker.

I long ago purchased Pet Sounds for my Apple Music permanent Stash. How would they be received today? Probably not at all. I only do classical these days

What are your favorites?

Mozart is probably #1. Ballet music, choral music. At least 2 of the 3 Bs . I let the radio choose for me most of the time
my personal collection is pretty eclectic and doesn’t follow a pattern.

And PDQ Bach, of course.

This probably won’t last long so enjoy
