We’ve unsuccessfully tried to run down the interview where a woefully clueless reporter asked Brother Ray his music’s style, fishing for a hackneyed answer on the order of “jazz, blues with a bit of country” pigeon-holing nonsense.

His answer was something like: “It’s all folk to me – folks singing music.”
