One of my all time favourite guitar players and musicians - he mastered funk as well as blues.
Loved his voice too. You can almost only be happy when you listen to his music.

My kid takes lessons at School of Rock and has loved playing Island in the Sun and Undone (which is not an easy song to tune). Say it Ain’t So is another favorite, although they haven’t performed it.

Don’t usually bump my own posts but a like prompted me to watch again. Nice performance. Makes me want to check out other Weezer songs, especially live. Of course I am oblivious to their current situation.
Anyone seen them around this time?

There has been some weird shit instigated by/centered on Rivers in the past. But is any band controversy-free?

That said, the Blue Album is one of my all-time favorite albums and I regret not seeing the 2024 tour (particularly when Dino Jr was supporting). Oh well.

I loved Weezer in my 20s and 30s.

I was turned off by some of the controversy connected to Rivers, and it did sour me on Weezer quite a bit. Funny how that can happen.
