So…as a fan of Chinese American Bear, when I heard they were opening for someone named Poppy I immediately purchased tickets for the April 3 Philly show.
Then came to learn that CAB was only an opener for the West Coast shows and thought J would sell my tickets.
Gave Poppy a listen and now cannot wait to go to the show. Listened to the opener a bit but didn’t do much for me.
Funny how it turned out. Check it out

Start at 2:35 for the original. Can’t beat Sly and the Family Stone.

Going to have a good May. Plus I have 10 day Florida road trip in there too.

Mallrat have no idea what to expect

Amyl and the Sniffers need I say more?

Samia love her voice

Momma love the two singers voices together

Thank you for introducing me to Samia and Mallrat, two bands I was previously unfamiliar with!

My pleasure.
I was in the top 0.xx of Samia listeners last year on YouTube, haha. Couldn’t have done it without Premium. A lot of Honey.
Favorite Mallrat song is Heart Guitar. Still breaking in the new album.
Love The Fist, BTW.

Have linked Descartes a Kant previously but linking again because this is some unique music. Description from The Google.

Equal parts Punk, Metal, Pop, Shoegaze and Cabaret, the critically-acclaimed underground sextet , Descartes a Kant have made a real name for themselves as an otherworldly, unpredictable theatrical live act.

This just came on Pandora. I was a huge Bowie fan at the tender age of 12 or 13 — I’m sure it was Let’s Dance or China Girl that put him on my radar, but I took a really deep dive into his older stuff.

Fun fact: when he sings “hey that’s far out, so you heard him, too” this young German thought it meant the person he was talking to was closer to where the UFO may have landed, not being familiar with 60s vernacular just yet
