Random thoughts while watching this:
Just how fucking hot was DB?
Did he really have to smoke while practicing ONE song?
George Michael is adorable singing along
I just recently discovered that you can add your Shazam tracks to your apple music
Iāve discovered any number of artists through tv shows and movies, and itās nice to be able to listen to them again & check out their other work.
And then thereās always the classics, of course.
Just the other day while listening to below playlist on spotify I thought to myself how good these guys were. Not the first time in my life.
Sometimes a piece of art is lauded, rightfully so, but you donāt really want to enjoy it daily. Not here. I can just listen to The Beatles every day!
Indeed. Whereas I could die happy without ever hearing the Rolling Stones again
I mostly use shazam for radio Fip. Great app, 99% of the songs I Iisten to will be found by shazam. Radio Fip used to have their own ios app where you could just mark a song as a favourite (while itās playing) and then you could just export that whole list into spotify. Unfortunately, that is not possible anymore so now I have to manually load each song from shazam into spotifyā¦
I tried out Qobuz for the past few months but didnāt like it so I have just cancelled my subscription. How do you like Apple music? Canāt imagine ever quitting spotify but maybe another streaming service that works well with my Innuos streamer can be handy. Spotify doesnāt work with the Innuosā¦
Some recent shazams.
Even though she seems to be everywhere these days, this remains the only song of her I could name.
Catchy, for sure. Maybe I should check out her newer Åuvre
That rehearsal is better than the actual performance and yeah, the other artists stop to actually watch them.
Pretty amazing still.
I was lucky to catch DB live several times, including the same music festival as the Eurythmics. Annie Lennox performed in black leather pants and a red bra. It was a pretty awesome lineup overall (also the first concert I ever attended at the tender age of 15 all by myself), and I got to see Bob Geldof & The Boomtown Rats, UB40, Echo & The Bunnymen, Chris Isaak, Thompson Twins, and Bruce Hornsby and the Range - all on the same weekend
Judging from how many of those I use, I either grew up watching too many period pieces, or Iām subconsciously channeling my inner flower child.
Probz the latter. Groovy.
Listening to my dadās favorite song as we prepare for his 1 year anniversary ceremonies.
He could belt this out too
My sympathies
Sortakinda even food-themed
This one may just be one of the rawest live performances I have ever seen.
One of the first tunes I learned on guitar - that, and Dream a Little Dream. I really enjoy their harmonies.
