The soundtrack of Here We Are. It is Sondheim’s final work and it is an absurdist, surrealist piece with the greatest incidental music in the history of incidental music {sorry Bernard Hermann}. We saw it twice!

I’ve always thought this song, and recording, was a masterpiece.
Just googled around; evidently Bobby Gentry is still alive, but hasn’t been seen in public or heard from in over 40 years.

ETA I always wondered what the unusually small guitar was that she played.
