That was a tongue-in-cheek comment!
They look very appealing!
They look good. I’ve been looking for a tested recipe. Would you mind posting, please.

Thanks! I haven’t made these in far, far, too long. I’ll probably be on a Chelsea bun kick for a while now.
My new usual. This was meant to be for dinner but didn’t quite get there with the rise in time. Still need to work on shaping .
Chelsea buns: Me too, please?
Absolutely the only thing I hoard is recipes … I have collected enough to last several lifetimes. It wasn’t easy, but I just browsed through and discarded about 50 … I talked to myself, said, realistically, this recipe is very complicated and you’re never going to attempt it. I just have to keep it up now.
Kudos to you. I try to do this every year in the fall - cull the recipe collection print-outs. I’ve maintained the habit for well over 10 years. This year, after kicking the can down the road for several months and with all intention I said “meh - I’ll do it next year”.
A few years ago, my aunt asked for her birthday present that the kids & kid-in-laws scan and organize her recipe collection into a binder and a document. This included written recipes, cut-outs, print-outs, and all, which she went through before handing over for processing.
It’s going to be very useful for us, but I think she’s used the “modern” version only a handful of times
Gluten free chocolate, hazelnut, pear cake.
Not sure what to expect with this cake as I did not beat egg whites separately but beat entire egg until soft peaks. I also used hazelnut flour rather than the almond suggested as I thought it would be an improved version. This is 2/3 in a 7” pan, from the Emma Duckworth Bakes site.
I expect I’d eat and love it!
Haha! Thanks, mig!
Really unusual “shell”! Looks like pasta ! I’m wondering how it holds up, especially since it’s so thin.
Egad! This is witchery!
Nevertheless, looks really yummy.
That’s a paper liner, I think, not something edible.
Hi BG, it’s my favorite air fryer liner that works perfectly in cake pans. I don’t have an air fryer but thought these would work well as a one piece liner and they do. Peel off very easily, I use loose bottom pans but they would work as well in a standard pan. Not appropriate for anyone planning on frosting the sides of a cake as it leaves ridges similar to a cupcake liner.
I guess I should have realized that. Put it down to a brain fart
It’s deceiving looking so you get a pass Not the first to puzzle over it!
